Recently bought manga

So my wife and I went to Barnes & Noble a few days ago and picked up some manga and they just happened to have one copy of the Chobits art book so I had to pick that up too. As we were arriving there by bus, a storm came in and we got caught out in it on the way home, cuz we missed the last bus going to our side of town and had to walk a nice distance. Luckily a neighbor of ours happened to be at a store that we stopped in to get out of the rain and was kind enough to offer us a ride the rest of the way home ^^

If you're wondering about Sgt Frog, it's for me to read to my son while he looks at the pictures, until some day he can read it all on his own. He's recently taking a liking to Keroro after watching a few episodes of the anime, and even I can't help but randomly say kero-kero-kero-kero from time to time now. XD

Oh nice, at the Barnes and Noble we got there is a serious lack of books and the ones they do have got those pesky stickers on them which I hate XD. I order mine online typically for that reason.

Dumb question, but what exactly is in an artbook?

Ah, I suppose I should have further reviewed that one. It's a book full of full color pages of artwork by CLAMP of Chi, with a few black and white pictures and at the back of the book a little index of thumbnails with an explanation of how each picture came about. Maybe I should post some pictures of the artwork in it.

Its fine, most people SHOULD know what one is, but I am an idiot lol. I simply pick the manga up and read it, never bothered with artbooks. Though there are a few artists I would like to have one of come to think of it ^^

I LOVE the chobits art book!!! So much full colour prettiness!!! I got it for £12.50($25) in a random comic place in London. Very good price I thought.

I wish I had someone to go pick up manga with..... maybe during uni...

Sorry I keep posting on all your older posts but it's just thrilling to see someone with tastes so similar to my own. I recently bought and read all that manga myself. I hope Tokyopop does a Keroro 4-6 volume as well. But I've been waiting a while now and there has been no news of one. So I guess I'll just have to buy the rest of the series the old fashioned way...one volume at a time.
